Russian cosmonauts to get new spacesuits

Orlan developed during the lunar program became the main spacesuit of the Russian space program. It was used for spacewalks onboard Salyut-6, Salyut-7, Mir and the International Space Station, ISS.

Chinese connection

In 2004, China purchased as many as nine Orlan-M suits for $20 million (each?), along with two Sokol suits for $150 thousand. (In interview with Ivan Moiseev.)
